This is an article that must be read. Spare some time if you can. _"We cry out to be full citizens of this country. The country we were born in and the country we want to die in. Yet you push us away at every turn."_ Yin's heart-wrenching plea: *Tell Me You Want Me to Stay* *_By Mariam Mokhtar_* Yin's heart-wrenching plea must be the saddest piece written thus far… In all the betrayals, counter betrayals, bluffs and counter bluffs it is very clear that the non-Malays do not count. This is a Malay fight for Malay interests among Malay politicians, like they are the only ones in this country. The non-Malays do not count – they never did for a very long time now. When the dust settled, it has become clear that the Malays (most of them anyway) have achieved what they wanted all along – A Malay Nation Governed by Malays for the Malays. The Perikatan Nasional Cabinet is entirely a Malay Party (with a few token non Malays). I wonder what is going...

You have made it abundantly clear – not once, not twice but for sixty years.  You discriminate against me at every turn, you discriminate against my children an...

Is the ban on liquor sale a mala fide move?

24 November 2020   Is the ban on liquor sale a mala fide move?   As the President of the Chiefs Circle (made up of retired armed forces chiefs) and Former Chairman of Pernama (Malaysian Armed Forces Trading Corporation, running 85 retail stores nationwide at military camps catering to Armed Forces personnel, veterans and their families), I strongly support the press statement on 23 November 2020 by Brig-General (Rtd) Datuk Mohamed Arshad Raji, President, Persatuan Patriot Kebangsaan, in opposing the ban on the sale of liquor from October next year by Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) at sundry shops, grocery stores, convenience stores and Chinese medicine shops.   My position is simple and similar to that of Brig-General (Rtd) Mohamad Arshad. While it is not my business to promote alcohol consumption, we must respect the rights of non-Muslims as we live in a multi-religious country and for many generations, there have been no problems on the sa...
