Following this, I have received considerable feedback from businesses in Kuala Lumpur, especially in Bukit Bintang, that many are now hesitant to fly nnnthe national flag in conjunction with Merdeka. Their reluctance stems from concerns, not from a weaker sense of belonging or diminished sense of patriotism. Traders have assured me that they remain proud Malaysians and want to celebrate the National Day. This statement is an open public declaration of planned criminal acts by Akmal, including criminal intimidation, trespass and breach of peace. It is getting ridiculous that he is getting away with this public misconduct. Why are the police and Madani government staying silent over his antics? Do they condone it?
