YUSUF HASHIM : WELL DONE, MALAYSIAN HERO LEE ZII JIA

YUSUF HASHIM : WELL DONE, MALAYSIAN HERO LEE ZII JIA. Tuesday, March 23, 2021 I am so proud of you. ALL Malaysians are proud of you. You have brought honour to our country, and our flag. You are truly a Hero, and a worthy successor to another Malaysian Hero, Lee Chong Wei. I foresee, you are poised to bring even more honour to our country. You are a special Malaysian, and Malaysia is so lucky to have you. I'm sure the powers that be, will probably give you a Datukship too, as you probably are well above the mysterious eligibility criteria for a Datukship. But even if they don't, it shouldn't really matter. In my eyes, you are more than a common datuk. Wait a minute. You are a Chinese Malaysian, right? I understand the Chinese have some issues here in Malaysia. They are looked upon by many in a certain racial group, as undeserving of equal treatment, and denied equal opportunities, in this mismanaged land of plenty. I wonder if they will ever give you equal treatment in ever...

IF THIS IS NOT RACIAL & RELIGIOUS DISCRIMINATION – WHAT IS?

March 17, 2021 IF THIS IS NOT RACIAL & RELIGIOUS DISCRIMINATION – WHAT IS? GOING TO PUBS OR NIGHTCLUBS THE WORST OFFENCE & 'CULPRITS' WILL BE FINED UP TO RM10K – WHILE OTHERS CAN APPLY FOR DISCOUNTS IF THEY SETTLE EARLY, SAYS TAKIYUDDIN Pub, nightclub goers to be fined up to RM10,000, says Takiyuddin GOING to a pub or nightclub is among the worst offences, with culprits liable to a RM10,000 fine for breaching Covid-19 rules, said Law Minister Takiyuddin Hassan. "Anybody who commits the offence of going to or being at a pub or nightclub, including business premises such as a restaurant in a pub or night club, can be issued a maximum fine of RM10,000" he said. Pub and nightclubs are still not allowed to reopen under movement restrictions to curb the spread of Covid-19. Operators who breach the orders by opening their outlets will be issued a maximum compound of RM50,000, Takiyuddin added. He said this falls under the first of three categories of compoundable off...

Second-class membership, second-class citizenship

Dennis Ignatius : Second-class membership, second-class citizenship Monday, March 8, 2021 Dennis Ignatius Kuala Lumpur. After months of scheming with Malay supremacist parties to set up a Malay-Muslim unity government, PPBM now wants to turn itself into a more inclusive political party by allowing non-Malays to hold "leadership positions" in the party. Presently, non-Malays can become associate members but cannot hold leadership positions. Azmin Ali, who was just admitted into PPBM, enthusiastically supported the move saying, " We should not allow only one race to dictate ." He also said that there was a need to move on from race and religion. It all sounds very nice until you remember that this is the same man who conspired to bring down the first genuinely multiracial government we've had in decades. This exercise must be seen for what it is – a cynical move born out of political expediency and desperation to gain non-Malay support at a time when the party is ...

Moral policing in Malaysia

Image
This was sent to me just now. Its going around in WAGs. Many people will agree with the writer and the father of the girl. This kind of keyboard moral policing is getting worse and becoming the norm ... supported by a billion-ringgit govt department (James Chin). https://www.malaymail.com/news/showbiz/2021/03/08/actor-azhar-sulaiman-lodges-police-report-after-getting-bashed-for-daughter/1955953?fbclid=IwAR2yx7iNhAbZebqmB0h0ammtt9pInzvhhPrW-b5vkZSgfFhYvP_B6KMCVtY
