Message to the UMNO Youth chief

*I think this is a very well articulated message to the UMNO Youth chief, to which I responded with my comment , further below.. Words coming out of political leaders that incite hatred, that impact on livelihoods , promotes racism and all forms of bigotry and extremism have always proven to be very dangerous all over the world , often resulting in widespread misery and deaths. Weak governments or party leaders who do nothing to stop such irresponsible actions will ultimately bear the wrath of the people as what is now happening in Australia following the Bondi beach massacre of innocent Jews* https://www.facebook.com/share/1DJ7Xr7f9u/?mibextid=wwXIfr *An Open Letter to Akmal Saleh* YB Dr Akmal, I am writing this not as an opponent, nor as an enemy of Malays or UMNO Youth, but as a Malaysian who believes that leadership especially youth leadership carries responsibility beyond noise, provocation, or inherited rage. Your recent rhetoric and actions have raised an importa...

Can a Bondi Beach-like tragedy happen in Malaysia? A. Kathirasen We are treading on very dangerous ground and that is why all of us – especially the government and the police – cannot afford to be complacent. Do not assume that Bondi Beach is far away. On December 14, a terrible tragedy unfolded on Bondi Beach in Sydney Australia: 15 people, including a 10-year-old girl, were killed in what Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese described as an act of "terrorism". It reminded all of us, again, that the threat of terror is still alive. Albanese said evidence pointed to the attack being inspired by Islamic State (IS) after two flags were found...

Malaysia: The Country That Exports Its Best Minds… For Free

*Malaysia: The Country That Exports Its Best Minds… For Free* _By Amarjeet Singh @ AJ_ Malaysia today is like a hospital with no doctors, a courtroom with no judges, and a national team where the goalkeeper absconded — not because he lacked skill, but because someone decided he wasn't the "right race" to play. Meanwhile, countries like Singapore, Australia, Germany, and Canada are busy vacuuming up the very talents we proudly push out. They roll out red carpets, dangle permanent residency, scholarships, and even tax perks. And here? We also roll out the red carpet — but only up to the airport departure gate. *The Tragedy of the Whisper* Parents spend their life savings sending children abroad to study. And what do they whisper at the airport? "Don't come back, sayang. Here, you'll be treated like a second-class citizen. Stay there, where your brains are wanted, not wasted." It's not that Malaysians don't love their homeland — ...

Harapan keeps thumping its chest about the economic improvements it claims to have brought to Malaysia. Statistically, that may be true - the ringgit has strengthened significantly. The problem: Does the rakyat feel and enjoy the benefits? No. The gains do not trickle down. 2. If the ringgit has strengthened so much, why do prices of goods remain so high? 3. With the ringgit up and global oil prices down, are airfares coming down? No. They only go up - again and again. 4. What is the rakyat's perception of the MACC, the Attorney-General's Chambers (AGC), and t...

SUPP secretary-general Datuk Sebastian Ting said *federal agencies operating in Sarawak must respect the state's multicultural character and avoid rigid rules that hinder public service.* *"We do not welcome this form of federal imposition on the people of Sarawak. We strongly urge the Inland Revenue Board to revert to the previous practice, which has never caused any problem throughout our history,"* the Piasau assemblyman said in a statement.
