An open letter to YB Shaid Rosli

An open letter to YB Shaid Rosli, Jeram Assemblyman

Dear YB,

I'm a taxpayer, a resident at Bandar Hillpark Puncak Alam needs clarification for your statement in below post..

"This Is Puncak Alam, This Is Malay Territory"

As far as I know there is no territory in Malaysia has been officially declared as a certain race owned area. From your statement, I can conclude that you're officially declaring Puncak Alam as Malay Territory.

I've made my research by cross checking Undang-Undang Tubuh Negeri Selangor 1959, Enakmen Rizab Melayu 1913, and Kanun Tanah Negara 1965 to understand how well you had justified the declaration.

Unfortunately none of the law or the sections speaking about a particular zone or a district or a town or a township to be declared as a ONE race owned land.

Herewith, I request for your kind attention to clarify your declaration of stating Puncak Alam as a Malay Territory. We, the people of Puncak Alam, people of Selangor never treated a visitor from other area as a stranger.

For all these years, Selangor has welcomed millions of people from other states and countries to share the opportunities in this glorious land. But, your racial declaration made me feel insecure in my own house.

If you're declaring Puncak Alam as Malay Territory, didn't I belong here?

Then, why should I pay for my house which I bought in Puncak Alam?

Why should I pay the land office?

Why should I pay to MDKS?

Your statement made me a stranger in my own state and country. As a resident of Puncak Alam I urge YB Shaid Rosli to pullback his racial declaration on Puncak Alam Territory and He must apologize for using such insensitive statement in his official Facebook Page.

Sincerely,
Kanaga Raja Muniandy
Resident of Cherry Hillpark,
Puncak Alam.
