" DATUK DR. MUHAMAD AKMAL SALEH, WHY DON'T YOU PULL OUT FROM YOUR PARTY IN THE UNITY GOVERNMENT COALITION IF YOU ARE SO UNHAPPY WITH ITS CURRENT LEADERS?

It is deeply regrettable that YB Datuk Dr. Muhamad Akmal Saleh, the UMNO Youth Chief, persistently launches such deliberate, divisive, inflammatory, and politically motivated attacks against the PDP President and Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Dato Sri Tiong King Sing.

Let me be clear to Datuk Dr. Muhamad Akmal Saleh: YOU HAVE PICKED THE WRONG PERSON TO ATTACK.

Dato Sri Tiong King Sing is representing the mandate of Sarawak. He is NOT from Peninsular Malaysia and NOT the one to be easily bullied by your narrow and manipulative politics. When you attack Dato Sri Tiong King Sing, you are not just attacking an individual, you are attacking a leader who carries the political weight of Sarawak.

I believe that your actions risk making the government, which includes your own party, look extreme and fundamentally intolerant on the global stage.

While Dato Sri Tiong King Sing is delivering results and bringing in revenue for the nation, what exactly are you doing?

Look at the world today: the conflicts between Israel and Palestine, Russia and Ukraine. We are sailing an already fragile ship through a major storm.

If Malaysia is divided racially and religiously, we will be slaughtered in the face of these changing global dynamics.

We welcome a positive and constructive policy debate, but not racial, religious, or personal attacks. Your persistent rhetoric and divisive actions have inflicted a great harm on our nation which was built on the principles of moderation and inclusivity.

Dato Sri Tiong King Sing's position is not for you to decide, nor will he quit

But you are in a position to do this:
If you cannot work with a multicultural government, then you are free to leave your party , which is in the coalition government !

I would therefore like to ask Datuk Dr. Muhamad Akmal Saleh this simple question:

Since you are so unhappy with a minister who is part of the Unity Government coalition,
THEN WHY ARE YOU STILL HERE?
